Triggers #

MailPoet for WunderAutomation provides trigger that handles changes to subscribers and their status.

Subscriber status change #

This trigger fires when a subscriber is added, updated or deleted from MailPoet. Note that this trigger only deals with the actual subscriber rather than the subscribers relation to a specific list.

The Subscriber status change trigger provides the following objects:

Subscriber added to list #

This trigger fires when a subscriber is added to a list.

Filters #

Subscribed listsThe lists that the subscriber is currently subscribed to.
Subscriber custom fieldThe value of any MailPoet custom field associated with the subscriber, i.e. submitted in an additional field on the sign-up form or added manually by an administrator.

Actions #

Send MailPoet mail #

This actions is similar to the built in email sending actions of WunderAutomation. But it uses a pre-defined MailPoet email as its template. This makes it easy to reuse MailPoet templates in transactional emails like notifications.

TemplateThe MailPoet template to use for this email.
ToRecipient(s). Separate multiple email addresses with comma.
SubjectEmail subject
Pre headerOptional text that will appear beside or under the email subject in most email clients. If left blank, any pre-header defined in the MailPoet template will be used
MessageEmail body. Message will display in sent email using the MailPoet shortcode [wunderauto:message]

Additional MailPoet shortcodes #

The Send MailPoet mail can optionally populate shortcodes used in the Email template. This can for used to personalize outgoing emails using hard coded values or any Wunderautomation parameter, such as generating a new WooCommerce coupon.

Change status #

This action updates the current (global) status of a user.

Add or update subscriber #

Adds a new MailPoet subscriber or if it already exists, updates an existing subscriber.

Note that setting a new subscribers status may have legal implication depending on your jurisdiction. Make sure to never add subscribers without explicit consent.

Additional subscriber fields #

When creating a new subscriber it’s possible to populate any existing MailPoet custom fields. The value of the field may be hardcoded or any Wunderautomation parameter.

Add subscriber to list #

Adds an existing subscriber to a MailPoet list

Send confirmation emailDetermines if the MailPoet confirmation email should be sent out or not.
Send Welcome EmailIf the email list has a welcome email associated with it, this checkbox determines if that email should be sent out or not.
Skip subscriber notificationDetermines if a subscriber notification should be sent out to the administrator.

Parameters #

mp-subscriber parameters #

mp-subscriber parameters become available whenever the trigger that starts the workflow provides a mp-subscriber object.
